State Highway and Waikato Expressway
Sleepyhead Estate is well connected – located directly off the Ohinewai north and south interchange with State Highway 1. The new Huntly section of the Waikato Expressway opened in March, 2020. It has reduced the time to travel Auckland to Hamilton by approximately 15 minutes, with the previous travel time by car being one and half hours.
